Children’s Workshop is a brand new approach to after school learning. We teach 21st Century Skills ~ the ability to create, persevere, and communicate successfully. We believe that life-changing learning can only come from life-changing teachers, and have a team of amazing educators. Finally, we make sure children complete their homework, and internalize critical study skills along the way.
New Offerings ~
Public Speaking Challenge: Thursday, March 22nd. Dismissal - 3:30. Students will discuss qualities of excellent public speaking, develop a presentation, and watch footage of the presentation. Students will gauge themselves on eye contact, volume, clarity, and expression, and try the presentation again until they meet the challenge. We hope to help students develop a life long skill for success!
Stanford Scientist and Engineering Series: Last Thursday of March, April and May. Dismissal until 3:30. Visiting Stanford Scientists and Engineers bring their research to life at the Hillsborough Schools, and work side by side with your students.

Groups will use Stanford’s design thinking to plan their own special Workshop to share with the class. Full or Part Time Registration for the 2012-13 School Year: Reserve a spot for your child to learn 21st Century Skills. Harvard's Change Leadership Group calls them survival skills for the 21st Century: critical thinking, collaboration, adaptability, and excellent communication. Children's Workshop designs curriculum to teach these skills, and helps your child complete homework successfully.
